Thirty year old Mark Boyle, celebrated the completion of a year-long challenge, by hosting a Freegan Festival at Hamilton House, in Stokes Croft, Bristol, where he cooked a free three-course meal for the public.
For the past 12 months Boyle has lived as a ‘freeconomist’, living a self-sufficient lifestyle in a caravan in Timsbury, near Bath. He grows his own food and reuses junk that people have thrown away.

Vanuatu claimed the Guinness World Record, on November 19th for ‘How Many People Can Write a Story in 24 Hours’. The attempt was hosted by YouMe Support Foundation, a Vanuatu based charity.
