Internet scammers are constantly looking for a new way to scam the viewing public. I followed this one with several carefully worded emails, in order to flush them out. Finally I was sent a photograph of the so called communicator. It all started with the writer saying he wanted to purchase our property on a tropical island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has detected a number of scams related to the FIFA World Cup.
“These types of messages typically come in waves and play on a person’s topical interest in the event as a hook,” ACMA chairman Chris Chapman said.
