Why The Rubik Cube Is Still A Phenomenon

The thirty year-old Rubik Cube brain teaser is still the biggest selling toy and most popular puzzle in the market place, in spite of being extremely difficult to solve. Invented by Hungarian university lecturer, Erno Rubik, the Cube was launched in May 1980. The puzzle, which is said to have ‘42 quintillon’ different combinations, but only one solution, has sold 350 million pieces in its lifetime.
